It’s been 4 years and I’m curious how your lemon trees turned out. I used organic lemons and did the peel method with a paper towel. After they germinated I planted over twenty, 11 survived until we had an unusual dip in temperature. That killed six even after I brought them inside. So I would say they are extremely sensitive to temperature for those who live in areas where the temperature can drop. After a year and a half I only had one. It looked beautiful. I planted it outside with my berry bushes. Sad to say, we had a hurricane, and a cedar tree fell killing most of my berry bushes and of course my lemon tree. We moved to a new farm, same area where temperatures can drop. But I know what to do now. Although I’m using your direct seed to soil method & praying for a good batch ❤

Hi thanks for the video. I am searching for green spectrum lighting. Ranging from $50 to $100. This is not just for plants but for me as well. I want to place them all over my home. Do you have a few recommendations? I would prefer green spectrum lighting that does not get super hot

Love the video and want to buy this. Question: Some people talk about the smell in the stagnant water. Can you just lift out the top piece and refresh the water? that would solve the smell problem or if an errant seed fell in the water reservoir.

I think roughing up the wooden plank definitely helped, more surface area for the water to cling onto when you spray them. I'm surprised at how fast it sized up and how close together the leaves are now! Very very interesting

I planted mine striaght after cutting a couple weeks ago. Should I tip it back out the pot to check the roots/stem or leave it in dry soil for a couple weeks longer and hope for the best? The soil was moist when I planted it 😬

People in every video other than yours always say don't water much mangoes like to dry out and I followed that initially only to observe my new leaves dying immediately exactly as you said! Now I water frequently especially when the new growth forms and the plants I have grow! Thank you for pointing out the importance of frequent waterings in young plants!

I think heat is rather more important to pothos then most realize I tried to grow pothos outside. I'm zone 10something, but in San Francisco where we rarely get above 70 (today's 76, very unusual!). It did not really grow outside at all -- it stayed alive tho. I've seen it in planters down town, but they probably just plant a big plant and leave it like that. My monstera is fine outside tho, and does grow. Need to figure out what to do now that it's reached the bottom of the second floor deck.

(BIG GASP) 😱 I just pruned the suckers off. I wish I would have seen your video first! Now I’m terrified that it will hurt or kill my plant! It’s a not a full grown adult Monsterra, but it has some nice taller leaves and one is started to unfurl and it has fenestrations. Praying I have not just murdered my plant as I’m a newbie to Monsterras!

It's all about the light. I had a giant pothos chunk like 2 yrs ago had to cut multiple times got too tall now I have many. Everytime it gets close to the light the leaves blow up. Keep it up love the series, I grow along😂.

So funny! Love the lifting weights, and the way you keep calling it a “hyperbolic time chamber.” I’m super impressed with how well it’s growing. I can’t wait to see you finalize your design for the grooves and modular plank system, too. My own pothos was growing 5” leaves and one of them was 3”, but I had to move it to a spot where it’s getting less light and the most recent leaf peeking out looks like it will be much smaller. Dang it! I might get one of those small grow lights for an individual plant and stick it in the pot.

I took a golden here in Texas and put it at the foot of an oak tree. I did nothing else except give it hose water every so often. Its leaves are now at least 7 in long and it's climbing up the oak tree with no help. I realize that come Winter this will become a tragedy but it's literally shooting up the tree with no assistance and getting HUGE.
